Welcome to Breastfeeding

  • Ha Yoga and Life Studio 1940 East University Drive Tempe, AZ, 85281 United States (map)

Breastfeeding classes are a great way to help you be more prepared to get breastfeeding off to a great start, and how to keep things going well for you and baby. Having plenty of breastfeeding support, even while things are going well, is very important, and can sometimes even help prevent challenges before they start!

You may have heard many stories about breastfeeding experiences from others. Are those experiences “normal”? You’ve likely been given advice by well-meaning family and friends, but is the information evidence based and current? Attending this workshop will give you the space to discuss your questions and help ease any concerns you might have, so that you can be more confident in your breastfeeding relationship.

Please join Jacqueline Kincer, IBCLC, COMS for an informational workshop on how to set yourself up for breastfeeding success. Jacqueline, a board certified lactation consultant, has spent the past few years supporting families as they work towards their breastfeeding goals. Workshop topics will include: preparing to breastfeed, what to expect in the early days, milk supply, position/latch, support partners, the role of chiropractic, and more! Expectant and newly postpartum parents and are invited to come discover and discuss a variety of breastfeeding topics. There will also be time for questions and conversation. The class is best suited for individuals/couples preparing for the arrival of their baby or have a baby under one month old. The class outline is as follows:
