Nobody prepared you for how
difficult breastfeeding would be

It doesn’t matter how many books you read or how many hours you spend researching online; nothing can prepare you for the humbling experience of becoming a new mom.

The complete overwhelm and lack of confidence that you’re feeling is completely normal. Moms all around the world feel the exact same way that you do right now.

But just because it’s normal doesn’t mean things have to stay this way.

Holistic Breastfeeding

If you’re struggling to breastfeed your baby,
desperate to know whether the struggles you’re facing are normal…

And if you’re searching for a trusted resource that was specifically created to help you find real, tangible answers to your burning questions…

You’re in exactly the right place.

Maybe you’re struggling with…

  • Getting your baby to latch (or latch again)
  • Increasing or maintaining your milk supply

  • Relieving pain or soreness while breastfeeding
  • Balancing feeding or pumping with work, family life, and your personal wellbeing

And you’re feeling completely defeated because nothing you try seems to work and answers feel so far out of reach.

We know how hard it is to find clear

Guidance You Can Trust

Maybe you’ve scoured the internet, turned to friends and family, or asked your healthcare provider for support… yet you’re still struggling to find the answers you need.

Between celebrities sharing unproven tips for increased supply, uncredentialed “specialists” teaching incorrect latching techniques, and courses that explain common problems without providing real solutions… it’s no wonder you feel overwhelmed!

While there’s a wealth of information at your fingertips, much of it is outdated or even downright harmful. And you shouldn’t be expected to filter through all of that noise or resort to trial and error on top of balancing everything else that goes into being a new mom.

Clear, expert guidance has been inaccessible to breastfeeding moms for far too long —

Until now…

You don’t have to do this alone

The average mom spends up to 30 hours a week breastfeeding. That’s practically a full-time job! Yet the lack of support is astounding.

We’ve been told that “breast is best”, but it’s easy to feel defeated when you’re not given the education, help, and community you need to succeed.

You deserve so much more than a rushed, one-off visit with a hospital’s lactation consultant or appointments with pediatricians that don’t consider your wellbeing (just your baby’s).

We’re here to show you that your breastfeeding journey doesn’t have to feel this difficult or isolating.

Motherhood goes by in the blink of an eye.
Let’s make this part of it as easy, joyful, and anxiety-free as possible, shall we?

It is possible to…

  • Know exactly which steps to take to overcome your unique breastfeeding struggles, thanks to expert advice you know you can trust

  • Find more ease as you learn to balance breastfeeding and pumping with your career and other responsibilities

  • Belong to a supportive, non-judgmental community of moms who understand your daily challenges and are actively rooting for you

  • Overcome your feelings of frustration, failure, and uncertainty, and finally feel like a confident mom who trusts she’s doing her very best for her baby

  • Create a loving bond with your baby through a breastfeeding journey that is comforting, pain-free, and enjoyable

Welcome to a safe space of knowledge, guidance & support
for breastfeeding moms everywhere

The information you need + The community you crave

The majority of breastfeeding courses and resources available today fall short of offering the tangible solutions that busy, tired moms need to successfully navigate breastfeeding challenges on their own.

That’s why we developed The Nurture Collective® with
two key pillars in mind:

EXPERT GUIDANCE

Our lessons and advice go beyond the benefits of breastfeeding to give you in-depth explanations of what’s going on at each stage in your baby’s development and practical tips on how to fix the problems you might be facing.

All of the resources at your disposal have been carefully curated by our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants and other certified professionals — so you never have to question their validity.

WELCOMing COMMUNITY

Breastfeeding isn’t a linear path, and your needs and concerns are likely to change as your baby grows. We recognize the importance of community, reassurance, and the ability to ask questions along your journey.

Your membership includes monthly group Q&A sessions, guest expert trainings, and access to an online community where you can interact with other moms — so you never feel alone.

AS a member of The Nurture Collective®, you get:

On Demand Access

On-demand access to trainings that address specific struggles, age-appropriate guidance, and more (without taking up too much of your precious time)

Ask The Experts

The opportunity to get your questions answered by lactation consultants and other experienced professionals

Icon Support

Mom-to-mom Support

Interaction with an international community of breastfeeding moms, so you can find support whenever you need it most (even in the middle of the night)

Please note that while we designed this program to give you all the resources, tools, and information you need to understand the issues you’re facing in your breastfeeding journey and how to resolve them, we are unable to provide individualized medical advice within this program.

If, throughout our conversations, we discover that you and your baby would most benefit from a one-on-one health consultation, it is our responsibility as healthcare professionals to recommend that you seek additional support. We only want the best for you and your family!

“I feel greatly supported by the team and community to continue my breastfeeding journey“

I love asking questions in the community. Both Cait and Jacqueline are very prompt and thorough in their respective explanations. I also love hanging out at the Q&As and seeing other moms who are part of the community and learning something new everyday from awesome moms and IBCLCs! I learned alot about good pumps from the community and things I can try. I feel greatly supported by the team and community to continue my breastfeeding journey.

The course is so comprehensive. I love how organized it was based on baby’s age and also issues that can come up with baby and mom. More than what I expected and way more than what I have learned just from google and past IBCLCs. It’s great to have this treasure of a resource available at hand whenever I hit a roadblock.

I wish I’d had this when my baby was first born. I’ve had mastitis four times, the fourth being when I discovered this program, and it was the only time I didn’t have to rely on antibiotics. I learned so much about breastfeeding that I wish I’d known when my baby was first born!

I haven’t found another program this comprehensive.

I just wanted to say thank you to Jacqueline and Cait. This Nurture Collective Program is SO in depth and incredible. I haven’t found another program this comprehensive in terms of breastfeeding, infant sleep, infant care, and more. I’m learning so much every time I watch a lesson and I would highly recommend this program to any new mama. The community is so encouraging, helpful, and quick to jump in and help each other. I’m thankful to be here and have these resources!

Thank you all for your very kind answers.

I am learning that choosing what NOT to read/watch is as important as what I do read/watch. That’s one of the reasons why I am in love with TNC Thank you for the validations as well, I truly appreciate it.

OUR FOUNDER’S STORY

Meet Jacqueline

International Board Certified Lactation Consultant®,
Founder of Holistic Lactation® & Creator of The Nurture Collective®

It may be hard to believe, but I was once exactly where you are right now.

When my son was born, I had the hardest time breastfeeding and nobody seemed to be able to help. The hospital’s lactation consultant made me feel incompetent and ashamed when I couldn’t latch my baby, I had no mom friends to turn to for guidance, and my pediatrician completely dismissed my experience.

For months, I experienced horrific pain at every latch, with scabs and bruises on my nipples. It wasn’t until I spoke to other moms at a local La Leche League meeting that I realized breastfeeding wasn’t supposed to hurt.

I’ll never forget my very first meeting, watching a mom confidently nurse her 2-year-old. I was witnessing something I didn’t even know was possible and I was completely blown away. With that one interaction, I suddenly felt like things could get better.

The guidance and support I received from other moms helped me become a confident mom and breastfeeder myself, and it didn’t take me long to decide I never wanted another mom to suffer in silence the way I did.

Founder

This tribe of women became my lifeline

AS I SLOWLY LEARNED WHAT WAS (AND WASN’T) NORMAL

I was so inspired that I never returned to my job as a stockbroker, instead dedicating my career to helping women find the support that I so desperately craved in the beginning. And as they say… the rest is history!

If my personal experience could be so powerful to not only encourage me to persevere in my breastfeeding journey but to completely change the trajectory of my career… imagine what a supportive community and hub of expert education could do for hundreds of women around the world?

That question has sat on my heart for so long, and it’s finally been answered in the form of The Nurture Collective®.

Founder Woman

There are plenty of breastfeeding courses out there that fail to give moms the practical tips they need to discover what works for them. I know because I’ve attended them. I’ve seen what’s out there, and I knew I had to create something different:

A way for busy moms to easily access the information they need, but to also ask questions and seek reassurance along their journey.

I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and in pain as you seek answers. I promise there’s a better way, mama — and I would love to show it to you, inside this membership.

l’ll be cheering you on, every step of the way.

You deserve to feel confident as a mom;
like you’re not alone in your struggles,
and that you’re always doing the best you can

(Because You Are).

Our only goal is to help you learn to breastfeed your baby in a way that works for you, your family, and the life you want to lead. Whatever that looks like for you…

We’re committed to helping you get there.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time should I commit each month to see results?

That’s really up to you. You get immediate access to the program; so, if you have time to dive into it right away, you can! If you need to take your time going through the lessons, they’re there for you when you need them.

The best part of The Nurture Collective® is that it can be accessed at any time, anywhere. No need to pack up the baby (and everything they need) and travel to get answers. You can access the lessons from your nursery, your car, your office — wherever!

I already listen to your podcast / follow you on social media. How is this membership different?

While we do cover a lot on the Holistic Lactation® Instagram page and the Breastfeeding Talk Podcast, we rarely discuss troubleshooting techniques or go in-depth on what to expect throughout the stages of breastfeeding.

Our free content barely scratches the surface of what we teach inside of The Nurture Collective®, and your membership also allows you to interact, discuss the content, and get feedback as you apply what you’re learning to your unique situation.

My baby is already several months old — is it too late for me to join?

Absolutely not. We have entire modules dedicated to newborns (up to 1 month), young infants (1-6 months), older infants (6-12 months), and babies (1+ year). You can jump right into the lessons that are most applicable to you!

I’m a lactation consultant. Can I join to see what you’re teaching?

No. This program is a safe space exclusively for breastfeeding moms/parents. Lactation consultants, doulas, midwives, and other healthcare professionals will immediately have their access revoked.

Where does the community interaction take place?

Our private community is hosted on a platform called Circle. It’s free, very easy to use, and you don’t need a Facebook account to participate.

Can you guarantee I’ll see results?

No. While we have carefully and intentionally created this program to be the go-to resource for breastfeeding moms, your results will be determined by a huge range of factors — from your personal or medical background to your dedication and motivation. We cannot ethically guarantee results, and this program is NOT a replacement for personalized medical advice.

Can’t I get all of this information online for free?

While the internet is a wealth of information on all things, including breastfeeding, much of that information is outdated, inaccurate, and surface-level. While you could piece together a plan on your own (with a lot of time and hard work), it may not be effective and could be harmful to you or your baby.

I’m pregnant — is it too soon for me to join?

Congratulations! It’s never too soon to prepare. Multiple clinical studies have shown that prenatal education dramatically improves breastfeeding rates and success. That’s exactly why (unlike a lot of breastfeeding courses) The Nurture Collective® has an entire module just for pregnant moms.
While prenatal classes are helpful, mom brain is a very real thing and it’s completely normal for you to forget most of what you learned and prepared ahead of time. Your ongoing access to this program gives you the chance to refresh your knowledge both before and after your baby is born, with a community there to support you as you navigate your transition into motherhood.

I’m worried about getting lost in a big group. How many moms do you have inside?

We promise that you’ll never feel like just a number inside The Nurture Collective®. Even as our program grows and reaches more moms, you’ll have the chance to interact with small cohorts of moms who have similar-aged children and/or are facing similar breastfeeding challenges.

I exclusively pump / supplement with formula. Is this program for me?

Absolutely. We’re well versed in all things pumping — from pump settings and flange fitting to formula and bottle feeding — and we’ve included guidance on all of these different forms of breastfeeding in this program.

Our main goal is to help you find a lactation support that works for you, your baby, and your life. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here, and all breastfeeding moms are welcome!

Do you offer refunds?

No. If you’re unsure whether you would like to commit to The Nurture Collective® long term, we recommend choosing the monthly option. This allows you to experience the program for yourself at a low investment, and you can cancel your membership at any time if you decide it’s not for you.

I think I need 1:1 personalized support instead. Do you offer this?

Yes! We would love to support you at a more personalized level. Click here to learn more about working with Holistic Lactation®.

Trust us, mama: this is the solution you’ve been looking for

We don’t want to see another tired mom search the internet for answers until her eyes glaze over. You not only deserve accurate, up-to-date breastfeeding information, but you also deserve real, practice tips on how to fix your lactation challenges.

And you deserve it all on your schedule…

So you can easily find the answers you need as you rock your baby back to sleep at 3 am or as you try to pump in your office in the middle of a workday.

You don’t have to piece it all together on your own anymore. our experts and a community of fellow moms are ready to help.
